Writing a URL Rewrite rule to make a redirect rule in IIS 7.5 let's say that the original url was http://site.com/info/reg/welcomepage.aspx for example ("info" is the Application name) then go to info on the sites tree in IIS, choose URL Rewrite. Then choose using wildcards, pattern: reg/welcomepage.aspx then in conditions add: condition input: {QUERY_STRING} form=7751&userid=253 then choose: action type - redirect inside redirect url write the full new address choose Temporary redirect (307) if it's not a permanent redirect. or choose Permanent (301) in case the redirect is suppose to be forever, choosing 301 redirect will impact the browser behaviour and might still redirect to the new page even after the rule is deleted
